A large French ceramic faience serving plate, measuring circa 36cm in diameter and weighing 1545g, decorated in polychrome enamels with chinoiserie scene depicting a man in landscape. Initialled D to the reverse. Attributed to Nevers, first half of the 18th century. Condition: Hairline (stabilized), one smaller hairline, some age-related wear.
