Moser, Calendar Exhibition Clock. A rare and unusual table clock with a fine calendar dial in a "single lever" case. The clock is in very good condition with a white enamel dial showing two sub-dials - one for the day and the other for the date and the front winding. A large upper window to view the bimetallic, lever escapement mechanism, adorned with precious stones. The bell strikes the hour and half hour on a counter wheel. Moser Circa 1851. Georges Moser operated from Rue de Grenier, Saint-Lazare in 1830 and from Boulevard du Temple in 1840. By 1860, he had registered his name as Moser and Company. The clock comes with the key shown in the picture, the enamel of the dial has visible cracks and repairs. Please check the pictures carefully before bidding. Thank you!
