These are very old banknotes issued in Japan during the Edo period..
Called "Han-Fuda 藩札"
The Edo period was unified by the “Tokugawa clan”. Therefore, there is naturally a common currency. However, the unique banknotes of local “Han 藩” were also often used in those days. Many were issued on the occasion of financial difficulties. After the Meiji era, “Han-Fuda 藩札” were banned.

◆享保十六年 Kyōhō 16
The year 1731 (Kyōhō 16) was a year of the Rooster in the Chinese zodiac, occurring during the mid-Edo period when the 8th shogun, Tokugawa Yoshimune, promoted the Kyōhō Reforms. The shogunate's finances had turned to surplus due to the rice tax system implemented until the previous year and were beginning to stabilize around this time. It was a period just before the great famine of the following year, with signs of cold damage appearing toward the end of the year.
◆銀壱匁 Gin Ichi-Monme
“Gin Ichi-monme” was a unit of weight for silver in the Edo period, equivalent to approximately 3.75 grams. In modern units of weight, 1 monme is 3.75 grams. In the Edo period, one “Han-Fuda 藩札” was equivalent in value to 3.75 grams of silver.
These are old and have some stains and tears. However, the illustrations and text are decipherable.
