卖家的描述
refined 19th century Italian copper engraving depicting the Madonna with the sleeping Christ Child in a Leonardesque Lombard composition.
Signed in the plate:
• “Luvino pin.”
• “Ang. Chiappa dis. e inc.”
The composition clearly follows the Lombard Leonardesque tradition and closely relates to Madonna types historically associated with Bernardino Luini (c. 1480–1532). The stylistic features strongly correspond to works traditionally attributed to Luini or his circle in the 19th century.
The print bears an elegant aristocratic dedication:
“Dedicato a S.E. la Sig.ra Contessa Wilhemina di Bubna”
Referring to a member of the Bohemian noble family Bubna von Lititz, indicating a distinguished context rather than a purely commercial devotional print.
