A jasper bangle from the ancient Burmese/Siamese culture, Second Millennium AD or older
In good condition. It has been cleaned and repolished, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Traces of use and age on its surface. Original,ancient, artisan hand cutting and grinding.
Purchased in 1995/Mandalay by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market .
