A finely painted Chinese famille rose reticulated dish dating to the Yongzheng–Qianlong period (18th century). The porcelain is delicately potted with a broad, elegant form and a luminous, silky glaze characteristic of the finest Qing imperial-era wares.
At the centre unfolds a graceful garden scene rendered in soft famille rose enamels: blossoming peonies and flowering branches emerge from a sculptural rock, while two colourful phoenix-like birds perch among the blooms, their plumage delicately shaded in tones of turquoise, coral, and gold. The composition evokes the poetic imagery of an imperial garden in spring, symbolising prosperity, harmony, and renewal.
The wide rim is richly decorated with an elaborate openwork-style lattice border, further highlighted with turquoise cartouches and floral motifs, creating a refined interplay between colour, pattern, and negative space. The intricate border frames the central scene with remarkable elegance, demonstrating the sophistication of Qing dynasty decorative design.
A striking example of Yongzheng–Qianlong period famille rose porcelain, combining technical refinement with lyrical decorative artistry, and highly appealing to collectors of fine Chinese export and Qing dynasty ceramics.
