This fantastic mechanical mantel clock was produced by Mauthe in the 1950s. It has an 8-day mechanism. I attach a key to the clock. The wooden clock casing has hand-carved decorations. The clock face protected by convex glass is missing brass ring placed on a hinge-available. But , this can not be seen from the distance.
Type: Mechanical 8-day mantel or "buffet" clock.
Case: Often crafted from woods like walnut or oak, featuring an Art Deco "hat" shape.
