原始基质中的大型化石鱼 - 安装在定制支架上 - 动物化石 - Mioplosus labracoides - 23 cm - 15 cm

Mioplosus labracoides with Knightia eocaena – Green River Formation, USA Large and highly decorative fossil slab featuring a well-preserved specimen of Mioplosus labracoides, beautifully displayed in natural contrast against the light limestone matrix. The fossil shows excellent anatomical detail, including clearly defined fins, vertebral column, rib structure, and fine skeletal elements. Accompanying the Mioplosus are two Knightia eocaena specimens — one visible on the front of the slab alongside the main fish, and a second example preserved on the reverse side. The composition offers strong visual impact, with the larger predatory Mioplosus dominating the slab and creating an impressive display presence. The natural stone matrix has been professionally prepared, and the reverse side has been consolidated to ensure structural stability and long-term preservation. Origin: Green River Formation, Kemmerer, Wyoming, USA Epoch: Middle Eocene (Lutetian) A plastic display stand is included, allowing the piece to be exhibited vertically. A striking and substantial fossil specimen, ideal for collectors of Green River material or as a statement piece in a natural history collection.
