Beautiful hand thrown stoneware vase designed by Roger Guérin and produced by Gérard Muller in Belgium, circa 1950s–1960s. This piece features a refined organic barrel shaped form with a subtly flared rim. The glaze is a characteristic earthy brown with natural green tonal variations and depth, typical of Guérin’s studio work. The surface shows a rich, atmospheric finish with natural kiln effects. Signed to the base “Guérin” and “Muller” and numbered 248. A strong example of mid century Belgian studio ceramics, highly decorative and perfectly suitable for modern, Scandinavian or wabi sabi interiors. Condition Very good vintage condition. No cracks, no restorations. Minor firing imperfections to the base consistent with handmade studio pottery.
