This magnificent carboniferous fossil matrix shows a lovely solid Pecopteris pennaeformis leaf! Great quality! The stone was found by myself in February 2026 in the region of the district Saarland in Germany. Found in rest material that came out of the former coal mines in this region. The fossil is between 309 and 302 million years old.
