Up for auction is a tin wind-up Sunbeam 1000 Land Speed Record Car. Produced in China around the turn of the last century for the US Schylling company. This car broke the land speed record in 1927 on Daytona Beach. It is a 28 cm long, beautifully made, all tin car with a working clockwork motor. It is in mint condition and it comes with its original key, a small brochure (with some age traces) and is packed in an illustrated box with inner tray. The box shows age/storage traces.
