You are bidding on a very fine and rare antique 4/4 violin. The instrument is in ready to play condition with no cracks to the corpus. The scroll has old good made repairs. The label says: Josephus filius Matth Albani me fecit Bulsani in Tyroli Anno 1718. The bridge stamped "William John". The violin has an excellent medium grained spruce of the top and one piece back of softly flamed maple wood, fixed with three wooden nails.
