It is the first instant camera to be commercially successful. Designers had been looking for an instant ready method since the 1850s. A story goes that Polaroid's owner, Dr. Land, heard his daughter say that it took a long time for the photos to come back from the store. He therefore started looking for a method for a fast instant camera with this Polaroid as a result. This system and camera are a milestone in our photography history. A very clean camera, in beter condition than normaly, small dent in viewfinder, and the shutter works.
