A kaleidoscope captured in glass, where ribbons dance in perpetual motion.
Description
This extraordinary glass vessel showcases Tamami Sudo's mastery of the ribbon lace technique, where multicolored glass canes intertwine in vertical patterns across the body. The composition features vibrant ribbons in red, orange, yellow, lime green, pink, magenta, and purple, each maintaining its distinct hue while contributing to a unified chromatic symphony. The vessel stands on a black glass foot, rises through the exuberant polychrome body adorned with two ribbon-like handles, and culminates in a gold aventurine rim that flares outward. The interior glows with deep crimson glass, creating a luminous contrast with the exterior patterns.
The wooden box bears an inscription in black ink.
