杂志架——布鲁塞尔世博会,原子能球(Atomium),1958年
Rare mid-century modern magazine rack produced for the World Expo 1958 in Brussels, held at the iconic Atomium. The rack is executed in bent and welded steel wire with an architectural composition of arches and geometric lines, reflecting the optimistic and futuristic design language of the late 1950s.
The open wire construction creates a light and sculptural appearance while remaining highly functional, offering multiple tiers for displaying magazines or books. A distinctive atomic-style motif in the lower section subtly refers to the Atomium and the spirit of the Expo, celebrating progress, science and modern living.
Original vintage condition with visible wear to the paint and minor rust spots consistent with age and use, adding to its authentic character and patina.
A striking and historically interesting display piece from one of the most important design and architectural events of the 20th century.
Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
Large and fragile items are shipped via Magic Movers or a comparable professional art and furniture transport service. Delivery time is usually 2–3 weeks, depending on destination and availability.
Smaller items are shipped via insured parcel service and are carefully packed.
