Figural table lighter in the form of a standing medieval knight in armour holding a lance. Cast metal with a silver-tone finish and partial gilt highlights to the face and certain details of the armour. The figure stands on a square base incorporating the striker plate. The base bears an inscription which is is hard to read. Decorative desk or table lighter typical of Austrian smoking accessories produced in the 1930s–1940s. Dimensions : 27cm x 10cm (with flag) - base 7cm x 6,5cm Condition : wear consistent with age, scratches in the base (see photos) It is sold as “not working” as it has not been tested.
