Beautiful Japanese Imari porcelain plate produced in Arita during the Meiji period (1868–1912).
The plate is decorated with a central Shishi (lion) surrounded by floral motifs and traditional Imari panels in cobalt blue, iron red and gilt decoration.
The rim is divided into panels with flowers and traditional motifs typical of export Imari porcelain made for the European market.
Diameter: approximately 25 cm.
Condition: good antique condition with one small chip on the rim (see photos). No cracks or restorations.
