French Silver Ornamented - 盒子 - c. 1900

A finely crafted French silver box with rich Rococo-style decoration (floral garlands, C-scrolls). Today it is perfectly suited as a pill box, miniature jewellery box, or a tiny container for personal keepsakes.

The interior retains its original gold-gilt finish.
Its condition is clean and attractive, showing only the small, natural signs of age and gentle use.

The rim bears two strikes of the French boar’s head hallmark (tête de sanglier), used from 1838 onwards for silver items under 30 g. The maker’s mark is not visible, typical for miniature boxes.

A charming, versatile and collectible piece.
