Guerlain Mitsouko factice display perfume bottle.

Factice bottles were produced by perfume houses for use in boutiques and department store displays. Instead of real perfume they contain coloured display liquid, allowing the bottle to remain permanently on display without evaporation.

This example represents the famous Mitsouko fragrance by Guerlain, first created in 1919. The bottle features the characteristic design with the heart-shaped relief on the front and the original Guerlain Paris markings.

The bottle still contains the display liquid and includes its cap. The underside shows the “FACTICE” marking confirming it was produced as a display bottle.

Factice bottles were not sold to the public and were made specifically for perfume counters, which makes them collectible among perfume and Guerlain collectors.

Condition: good vintage condition with normal signs of age and use. Please examine the photos carefully as they form part of the description.
