This lot consists of three vintage Japanese Nakiri kitchen knives, traditional vegetable knives characterized by their straight rectangular blade. Nakiri knives are widely used in Japanese cuisine for precise and efficient vegetable preparation.

All three knives bear maker’s marks (mei), representing traditional Japanese craftsmanship and practical kitchen tools from Japan.

Signatures / Makers

Left knife
The signature is worn and difficult to read, but the final inscription 「請合」 (meaning “guaranteed” or “quality assured”) can be identified.

Center knife
Signed 「升晃 別打」 (Masakō – Special Forged).

Right knife
Signed 「登録 哲弘」 (Registered Tetsuhiro).
The handle retains its original label reading:

「切味抜群 最高級 御料理包丁」
meaning “Outstanding sharpness – Highest grade cooking knife.”

These knives reflect the tradition of Japanese handcrafted kitchen tools and are appealing not only as practical utensils but also as collectible items for enthusiasts of Japanese culinary culture.
