A delightful lacquer and gilt brass small étagere, measuring circa 20,5cm in height and weighing 245g, the two plateaus decorated with rooster in gold nashiji lacquer and signed with three characters, the undersides decorated in gold maki-e lacquer. Old label to the underside annotated that the object was received as a gift in 1893. Condition: Very good, no significant damages or repairs. Minimal wear.
