Elegant Mid-Century / Space Age ceiling lamp manufactured by the renowned German lighting company Glashütte Limburg. This model features a large smoked glass dome resting on a brass-coloured metal base. Inside the shade are three light fittings arranged around a central brass element, creating a striking sculptural effect and producing warm, atmospheric light when illuminated. The combination of the translucent dome and reflective brass elements is characteristic of German lighting design of the late 1960s–1970s, influenced by Mid-Century Modern and Space Age aesthetics. SOME GENERAL INFORMATIONS: The company Glashütte Limburg, founded in 1945 in Limburg an der Lahn, quickly became one of Europe’s leading specialists in glass lighting, known for its exceptional craftsmanship and high-quality materials. Their luminaires were widely used in modern architecture and received numerous international design awards.
