The surface is richly adorned with a repeating pattern of diamonds, crosses and triangular motifs, creating a refined decorative composition typical of Italian cabinetmaking of the period. The lid features a dense geometric inlay design, while the front and sides display a continuous band of diamond-shaped motifs.
