This pocket watch is a model from Citizen, a Japanese watchmaking company founded in 1918. Watch very good keeping time. Date of last service unknown. Original hand winding movement (cal.8841) with 15 jewels in very good condtion. The movement bears the inscription "Citizen Shokosha." Shokosha Watch Research Institute was the original name of the company, which later became Citizen. This designation indicates that the watch dates from the company's early decades, most often from the period: 1920–1940. Chromed case in good condition. Case was never renovated. The watch has very good condition dial with black hands and black indexes. Size of watch is 41 mm without the crown. High is 48 mm. Original nickel-chromium caseback in very good condition.
