Ancient Roman silver / billon ring with an oval bezel decorated with stylised Legionary Eagle 'Aquila' wings. Shoulders with linear decorations, plain ring band.

The eagle was a symbol of the power and majesty of the Eternal City and was associated with Zeus (Roman Jupiter).
