An Orrefors masterpiece. Uranium glass vase by famous designer Nils Landberg (1907 - 1991). Fully handmade/mouth blown artifact. Hand engraved. Landberg worked at Orrefors Glassworks between 1925-72, initially as an engraver and from 1936 as a designer. He began with engraved glass and debuted at the Paris Exhibition in 1937, participated in the World Exhibition in New York in 1939 and won the gold medal at the 1957 Milan Triennale. Very decorative artifact, with charming presence in the room space. Stunning optical effects in different light sources. Perfect and emblematic example of Mid-century glass design. In excellent vintage condition, no chips and cracks, no repairs. Minimal traces of time and use. Some small imperfections inside the glass as result of hand made way of production.
