A beautiful necklace made up of 15 triangular glass beads, These beads were originally produced in Bohemia (Czech republic) in the 1960-70`s and were ment for the Malinese market, where they were very popular among the Fulani-people. Also called "wedding beads", as they were given as a matrimonial present. Interspaced are silverplated beads and also the lock is silverplated. The ends are made of thin bakelite discs also from Bohemia and of the same period. The glass beads are 38 x 30 mm. Total lenght of the necklace is 50 cm. Beads collected in Mali in the late 1990`s.
