Up for auction is a rare tin wind-up Schuco Opel Doktorwagen Nr.1228, made in Western Germany. The toy is in mint optical condition. The wind-up motor works perfectly, but the mechanism that should fold the top is not working, as it is often the case with this model. This is a rare model because of its white wall tires. I could not find any information when this model was released, but I guess it must have been a limited edition for some company. It comes with a 60s type box, which makes it a replacement box, although orginal as is. The box is in complete but used aces. It comes with a original Schuco key.
