Caravaca cross bronze Christ Crucifixion cherubs chalice Spain 19th century A double-branched cross, called Caravaca*, of finely carved bronze, decorated with a depiction of the crucified Christ on one side and the Virgin Mary at his feet, all surrounded by cherubs, from Spain, 19th century. This cross is in good general condition. Note: some damage from age, see photos. * The Cruz de Caravaca is a cross-shaped reliquary with two crossbars containing a fragment of the cross of Christ.
