This lovely carboniferous plant fossil duo shows beautiful solid Mariopteris hirsuta leaves. Positive and negative belonging together! Great contrast and quality! The stones were found by myself in March 2026 in the region of the district Saarland in Germany. Found in rest material that came out of the former coal mines in this region. The fossil is between 309 and 302 million years old.
