Hubert Bequet - 花瓶 - 七百四十七 - 陶器 - Vase Bequet

Vase en faïence peinte polychrome à décor floral, signé « Hubert Béquet » et numéroté 747 (gravé dans la masse).
Hubert Bequet (1912-?) était un céramiste et industriel belge qui commença sa carrière en 1926 à la faïencerie Auguste Mouzin et Compagnie (AMC) à Wasmuël, avant de fonder sa propre fabrique de faïence à Quaregnon en 1934. L'entreprise, spécialisée dans les pièces décoratives peintes à la main (motifs floraux, dorures, effets irisés), connut un grand succès jusqu'en 1963 (pic d'emploi >150 personnes), avec production arrêtée vers 1982 après une reprise.
Forme classique d'amphore à anses hautes courbes, col évasé festonné bordé d'or, corps élancé sur pied évasé festonné, fond noir mat profond avec grandes fleurs stylisées aux couleurs vives (bleu cobalt, violet profond, orange vif, jaune lumineux, vert émeraude) entourées de feuillage et baies, frise noire et dorure aux anses et au pied.
Très bon état général, faïence intacte sans fêle ni éclat, peinture bien adhérente et couleurs vives intactes sans décoloration ni écaillage. Aucune trace d'usure notable, pas de rayure profonde, aucune restauration visible.

Hubert Bequet (1912-?) was a Belgian ceramist and industrialist who began his career in 1926 at the Auguste Mouzin et Compagnie (AMC) faience factory in Wasmuël, before founding his own faience factory in Quaregnon in 1934. The company, specializing in hand-painted decorative pieces (floral motifs, gilding, iridescent effects), achieved great success until 1963 (peak employment >150 workers), with production ceasing around 1982 after a takeover.
Classic amphora shape with high curved handles, flared scalloped rim edged in gold, slender body on flared scalloped foot, deep matte black ground with large stylized flowers in vivid colors (cobalt blue, deep purple, bright orange, luminous yellow, emerald green) surrounded by foliage and berries, black frieze and gilding on handles and foot.
Very good overall condition, faience intact with no cracks or chips, paint well adherent and vivid colors intact without fading or flaking. No notable wear, no deep scratches, no visible restoration.
