Attractive mineral specimen of garnet – spessartine variety on a light-colored matrix (feldspar/pegmatite rock), complemented by crystals of smoky quartz. The specimen is richly covered with small to medium-sized garnet crystals featuring a vivid orange-red color and high luster. The crystals are well-formed, with some displaying nice geometric shapes. The specimen also includes smoky quartz crystals, with some garnet crystals growing directly on the smoky quartz, which enhances both the aesthetic and collector’s value of the piece.
