You may still be required to pay additional fees upon delivery, as determined by your local customs authorities. 【Product details】 This genuine Meiji period or later set consists of a pair of kote, armoured sleeves extending from the elbows to the backs of the hands, and a matching pair of haidate, protective guards for the thighs. The kote are constructed from indigo-dyed cloth and brown-toned leather, reinforced with rectangular iron plates and small linked rings to balance mobility with protection. The backs of the hands feature segmented iron plates and decorative round rivet-like fittings, with the thumbs independently protected in a mitten-style configuration. The inner sides are secured with lace-up fastenings. The haidate hang from the waist to cover the fronts of the thighs. The upper section is made of fabric, while the lower section is formed from numerous small plates (kozane). Cloth ties are attached for fastening. The reverse sides are lined with indigo-dyed cloth for reinforcement. Condition shows natural wear consistent with age, including leather deterioration, soiling, lacquer cracking and flaking, rust, corrosion, and cracks to the iron plates.
