This metapod, either a metacarpel or metatarsel, comes from the most famous ice age giant of all time, the Woolly mammoth. Found by fishermen in the North Sea, close to the Dutch shore. Bryozoans have used this hard surface to settle on during it's time submerged. Conserved to prevent cracking/damage in the future. No repairs or restoration.
