Bohemia - Pavel Ježek - 花瓶 - 液态蜡 - 玻璃
The vase is a distinctive piece of Czechoslovak art glass, designed by sculptor and glassmaker Pavel Ježek in 1976. It was produced in the famous Škrdlovice glassworks. The design is known as "Liquid Wax" (Czech: Tekoucí vosk) due to the characteristic glass "drops" that flow from the transparent upper part down the amber base. Characteristics and value Author: Pavel Ježek (1938–1999), trained by the famous artist Stanislav Libenský. Material: Hand-blown glass with a controlled bubble technique (known as bullicante) in the transparent upper part. Dimensions: The typical height of this model is around 23.5 cm to 25 cm, depending on the specific series. The vase is also often attributed to the Bohemia Glass brand, as confirmed by the label visible on your example, which was used for the export market.
