Big Peat Christmas Edition 2012 in the 70 cl bottle with 53.6% Small batch release of Douglas Laing's Islay Blended Malt bottled at full strength. A shovelful of single malts distilled at Ardbeg, Coal Ila, Bowmore and Port Ellen distilleries. Big chunky peat with coffee and spices on the nose leading to a warm, smoky, nutty flavour on the palate with a touch of brine. The finish is fairly coastal with pert peat.
