A striking specimen of deep green dioptase on natural matrix from the Mindouli District, Republic of Congo. The mineral occurs as lustrous crystalline aggregates and partially developed crystals, covering much of the surface and creating a vivid contrast with the rusty iron-rich matrix. This piece shows strong color, attractive sparkle, and a classic appearance typical of copper mineralization from this well-known African locality.
