No reserve price! Chinese bi-color fruit shaped nephrite jade pendant – China- 20th Century On offer is a very fine high quality bi-color green-white nephrite jade “fruit” pendant. This remarkable fine pendant has been carved in the shape of a hanging fruit with some detailed finely carved leafs at both sides. The carver created a beautiful sharp transition between the white and green jade. Hard to find ! Provenance: from the estate of a deceased former collector of small jades in the Netherlands. The carved stone has been identified as nephrite jade by measuring thermal conductivity and hardness and translucency. Also checked with UV light; which indicates a minor color treatment.
