Chinese porcelain cup and saucer dancing lady –China- Kangxi period On offer is an attractive blue-white thinly potted, translucent Chinese porcelain cup and saucer dating back to the late Kangxi period. The cup and saucer have a fine decoration of a high ranking official and a dancing court lady. At the rim a zig-zag pattern. Rare find! Provenance: From the private collection of a deceased collector from North Holland. Date: Kangxi or Yongzheng period 1710-1730. Size: cup measures ca. 7 cm across. Saucer measures ca.12 cm across. Condition: Good. Cup: rough edge with fritting because it is very thin and a 2 cm thin clean (sealed) hairline. Saucer: a rim frit and some foot rim fritting.
