A big (height: 30,3 cm) Chinese famille verte powder-blue ground porcelain baluster 'Flowers' vase made after Kangxi models. China, Qing dynasty, mid 19th century. Most probably late Daoguang (1820-1850) period. Finely potted in baluster shape, strongly everted mouth rim. Enameled in the Kangxi style in vivid colors with two large oval floral cartouches separated by two shaped (leaf, multi-foil) panels. Large panels depicting garden scenes with flowering peony and chrysanthemums, turquoise blue pierced rock-works, branches. Small shaped panels depict lotus and other flowers. Neck with two fan-shaped panels with flowers. All on beautiful powder-blue ground. Inscribed to the base with underglaze blue four-character apocryphal Kangxi mark. Daylight pictures included.
