日本漆器蒔絵信件/文件盒(Fubako),奢华金色设计 - 木 - 日本 - 20世纪

Description: An exceptionally elegant Japanese lacquerware document and letter box (fubako / 文庫), featuring one of the most lavish maki-e compositions available in traditional Japanese craft. This piece carries the design name "Hatsune" (初音) — meaning "first song of spring," a poetic reference to the first call of the bush warbler at the arrival of spring, one of the most beloved motifs in classical Japanese literature and art. The maki-e decoration is truly spectacular — the entire lid surface is covered in an intricate gold lacquer (maki-e) panoramic scene depicting a classical Japanese aristocratic garden: a graceful pavilion (御殿) with sweeping eaves, flowing streams rendered in fine concentric gold lines, ancient gnarled pine trees, white plum blossoms with small birds perched among the branches, bamboo, arched bridges, and layered golden clouds (kirikane clouds) drifting across a deep black lacquer ground. The density and refinement of the gold maki-e work is exceptional, with virtually the entire lid surface covered in detailed imagery — a hallmark of premium Japanese lacquerware. The interior and body of the box are finished in smooth, deep black lacquer. The chamfered edges (mentori) give the box a refined, architectural quality. This is an A4-size document box — perfectly proportioned to hold letters, writing paper, correspondence, or treasured documents, and equally suited as a luxury display piece. Design name: Hatsune (初音) — "First Song of Spring" Origin: Japan Condition: Unused, excellent condition. Original storage box included (some age-related wear to outer box as visible in photos). Length: 33 cm Width: 24 cm Height: 6 cm Weight: 1,300 g Material: Wood with urushi lacquer and gold maki-e decoration NOITICE: The lot will be carefully packaged and sent by DHL , FedEx or Japan Post depend on the situation. It takes about 10 days to receive normally. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Sometimes Customs or delivery company in your country contact you for Customs clearance via phone or email. Please make sure that you could answer the phone.
