卖家的描述
teak veneer with solid teak detailing, Denmark, circa 1960. Designer unknown — sourced directly in Denmark.
A charming and highly versatile piece of Danish mid-century furniture. This compact cabinet combines storage and display in a form that is typical of the best Scandinavian design from the 1950s and 1960s: clean lines, warm materials, and thoughtful functionality.
The cabinet features two drawers at the top with elegant brass bowtie-shaped handles, and a lower display section with two striped (frosted/etched) glass sliding doors — a decorative detail that was very popular in Scandinavian furniture of this era and adds a distinctive visual texture. Behind the glass doors is one fixed shelf, creating two compartments. The interior back panel is finished in black, providing a striking contrast that beautifully highlights displayed objects. The cabinet sits on four solid tapered legs, attached with metal mounting plates.
Originally designed as a small bookcase or display cabinet, this piece works beautifully in a modern interior as a record cabinet, bar cabinet, hallway console, or media unit.

— Two drawers with original brass bowtie handles and dovetail joinery
— Two striped (frosted/etched) glass sliding doors

— Black-painted interior back panel for contrast
— Four solid tapered teak legs with metal mounting plates
— Compact, versatile size
