Description of the fiber:
Vicuña fibers come from a small animal of the camelid family, closely related to camels, alpacas and llamas. These wild animals inhabit the Andes regions at altitudes above 4,000 meters. To survive the harsh winters and hot summers, vicuñas develop a fleece of very fine fiber, measuring on average only 12.5 microns in diameter. This fiber has a characteristic golden hue due to its extremely thin, short and densely woven composition, also providing exceptional thermoregulatory properties.

The jumper is in perfect condition, in the last pic an invisible mending made with Vicuña fiber provided by Loro Piana.
The Loro Piana Vicuna sweaters are not available today because the fiber has run out and cannot be found on other online channels. The price of a Men's V-Neck sweater from the list price is 4300 euros.
