Exceptional ancient Chinese terracotta votive tsa-tsa tablet,
Artifact is executed with remarkable precision and attention to detail, preserving a well-balanced triangular composition with originally preserved earth sediments. It depicts effigies of ten Buddhas sitting upon a lotus throne and with decorative mandorlas behind their back symbolizing and emphasizing the divine nature of the depicted figures.
Beautiful and extremely rare type of tablet searched by collectors!
* Tsa-tsa tablets are unique artifacts used as a votive offering placed or buried in reliquary chambers to worship and to enhance the spiritual power of the ancient Buddhist temples, they were also used as amulets to ensure success, prosperity and protection against evil spirits.
It includes Certificate Of Authenticity document (lifetime authenticity warranty) and acrylic presentation stand.
