Small ruby overlay cut crystal vase, attributed to Val Saint Lambert, circa 1950-1960.
Pretty small ruby overlay crystal vase with a bulbous body richly cut with geometric facets (diamonds and point pattern).
The rim is flared with a wide scalloped and serrated edge.
The layering of clear crystal and deep ruby gives a beautiful depth and brilliance effect.
Heavy and high-quality piece, typical of Val Saint Lambert productions although unsigned.
Very good condition with some minimal chips on the body (discreet and normal for the age).
No cracks or significant chips.
Weight 1200 g.
