A really aesthetic and large single cube of pyrite with excellent mirror luster and complex micro textures on its faces, giving it quite a unique look. The cube in this case appears attached by a small section to a section of massive pyrite matrix that gives this otherwise rather sober piece some really remarkable aesthetics. Pyrites from Ancash have long been held as the best of the Americas, and along with the Spanish pieces from Navajún, they hold the podium for the best in the world.
