Guéridon side table with spiral column – Italy, late 19th / early 20th century

Elegant antique round side table featuring a central spiral (barley twist) column, a decorative element typical of Baroque style and widely reproduced during the late 19th and early 20th century.

Made of solid wood (likely mahogany or similar), it has a circular top with a slightly beveled edge, supported by a finely turned spiral column and resting on a shaped, stable base.

This type of furniture belongs to the so-called “guéridon” tables, small occasional tables popular throughout the 19th century.

Condition:
