犹太文物 - .925 银 - 1950-1960 - Kiddush 瓶 L’Chaim
vintage silver-925 marked decorative liquor or Kiddush bottle (sometimes called a “L’Chaim bottle”) — likely made in Israel in the mid-20th century (1950s–1970s). It is quite heavy. The inside is a glass bottle, and the outside should be a silver 925 electroforming type. A beautifully intricate piece of Judaica, likely a decorative silver liqueur or kiddush bottle—its form reimagined as a violin, symbolizing joy and harmony. The Hebrew inscriptions and ornate reliefs form a mosaic of religious symbolism and artistry. On the front, the inscription “לחיים” (“L’Chaim”)—meaning “to life”—beckons to celebrations, victuals, and the toasts that intertwine with Jewish festivity and gratitude. The reverse side’s vine-and-grape motif—verdant and flowing—symbolizes abundance and blessing, while the Hebrew inscription inside the shield relates to Kiddush and Shabbat, anchoring the piece in ritual significance. The craftsmanship—its labyrinth of curves, flourishes, and textures—orchestrates a sense of reverence and joy. There's more to add about this bottle, but this is what I know.
