卖家的描述
Authentic hand-forged wrought iron coffee table crafted by my grandfather, a blacksmith active in the coastal town of Piran, Slovenia, from the 1950s to the 1990s. The table features twisted wrought iron elements, decorative forged scrolls, and hand-worked details characteristic of traditional blacksmith craftsmanship.
In keeping with traditional techniques, the elements were shaped and assembled primarily by hot forging and mechanical joining rather than modern industrial welding. The design reflects Mediterranean artisan influences typical of the Adriatic coastal region. The metal structure is in good condition with original surface finish and natural patina.
The table is currently without a top, as the original glass broke. Since glass is difficult to ship safely, it has not been replaced; a new glass, stone or wood top can easily be fitted according to the buyer’s preference.
The table bears my grandfather’s original maker’s stamp, confirming its authenticity and provenance.
The chairs in the images are not included in the lot! They can be bought in pairs in two seperate lots.
