一枚古埃及红玉髓护符，精细雕成心形，在埃及语中被称作“ib”。

Taking the form of a jar, the amulet features a piriform body with a pointed base and a slightly convex profile. -> 因呈罐形，护符具有梨形躯干，尖端基部，轮廓略为凸起。
Two small lug handles protrude from either side. -> 两侧各有两枚小耳状把手突出。
To the top there is a loop attached for suspension. -> 顶部有一个环用于悬挂。
Earthly encrustations and signs of wear as consistent with age. -> 陆地性矿物包覆和岁月磨损痕迹，与年代相符。

In Egyptian culture and mythology, the heart was perceived as the most important organ, the seat of intelligence that decided all feelings and actions, housing all the memories of a person. -> 在埃及文化与神话中，心脏被视为最重要的器官，是决定一切情感与行为的智慧之源，承载着一个人所有的记忆。
It was believed that the heart was weighed in the afterlife against a feather representing ma’at, an Egyptian concept of truth and justice, at the Weighing of the Heart Ceremony. -> 相传在来世，心脏会在称量心的仪式中与象征真理与正义的羽毛maat进行称量。
If their heart weighed the same or less, they were worthy enough to proceed onto the afterlife, but if it weighed more, they were destroyed. -> 若心脏重量相等或较轻，即有资格进入来世；若重于羽毛，则会被毁灭。
